The eighth volume of the AISU Insights series, Città e studenti. La residenza universitaria: cultura,
spazi, eredità | Cities and students: the University housing: culture, spaces, heritage, edited by
Antonello Alici, Alessandra Cattaneo and Chiara Mariotti, is now available online.
The publication brings together, in revised form, a selection of the papers presented and discussed
at the AISU conference Città e studenti. La residenza universitaria: cultura, spazi, eredità. The
conference was held in Urbino in autumn of 2024 and organized by the Università Politecnica delle
Marche and the University of Urbino Carlo Bo.
The conference brought together scholars from a range of disciplines to discuss the many
relationships that develop over time between cities and universities, and between residents and the
student community. The essays in this volume now take up those reflections. They follow AISU’s
established approach of ongoing cultural work, which aims to encourage dialogue between
academic institutions and the civil society the association engages with.
The volume is free to read and download in the section dedicated to the Insights series. LINK
