This call, issued as part of the DePOT partnership project ‘Deindustrialisation and the Politics of Our Time’ aims to examine heritage in the context of deindustrialisation. The main objective is to explore and understand how the relationship with the past or with the local area has been, or may be, transformed – or not – through heritage initiatives. The term ‘initiative’ refers to any project involving recognition, reuse, conservation, social participation, consolidation or transformation of identity that has drawn upon an expression of the past or a relationship with an object embodying such an expression
