A multi-voiced meeting between different disciplines - from history to anthropology, from urban planning to art history - in a comparison of methods and sources for a reflection on the past also aimed at an interaction with the dynamics underway in urban realities. The starting point will be the studies collected in the book Telling, reading and imagining the contemporary city. Raconter, lire et imaginer la ville contemporaine, edited by A. Bertoni and L. Piccioni (Leo S. Olschki Editore, Florence 2018).
