Summer School “Collaborative Cultural Natural Heritage”

This intensive international summer school program will equip participants with skills to build collaborative projects in heritage and regional development research, with a focus on large scale cultural and natural landscapes.
Participants will explore information and data formats for heritage identification, description and representation and discuss the role of local or indigenous communities in determining the value of heritage. The objective of the program is to research and re-create both existing and lost historical contexts of complex and large-scale areas. The program is composed of two weeks with distinct coordinated activities. Participants can apply separately for one week or for the overall comprehensive two-week program.

X AISU Congress, 6-10 September 2022

The X AISU Congress will take place from 6 to 10 September 2022 organized with the Politecnico di Torino. We had launched a theme that would lead us to consider those aspects of flexibility in the cities that have made and make this long history possible. The situation we are facing due to the pandemic makes this reflection more relevant than ever and projects us towards a new awareness. We wanted to underline this by retouching the title of the Congress in ADAPTIVE CITIES THROUGH THE POST PANDEMIC LENS. Rethinking Times and Challenges of the Flexible City in Urban History / Times and Challenges in Urban History. Information on how to participate will follow shortly.
